A traditional swap specifies the path: this pool, this bridge, these steps, in that order. An intent-based swap specifies only the outcome — "I want 1,000 USDT on TRON" — and leaves the path to others.

The result is a marketplace of solvers competing to fulfil your intent at the best rate, instead of you researching routes yourself.

How NEAR Intents Executes

AEXI generates a deposit address for your intent. You send your token there, and the NEAR Intents solver network locks in the corresponding output on the destination chain.
